Craftsmanship for terroir
The history of Mas La Chevalière starts in the 1990s with the identification of two impressive vineyards, Peyroli and Roqua Blanca. Bringing these vineyards into life, however, raises challenges : how do you transport grapes from Peyroli to the winery without damaging them ? How do you transfer the complexity of the Roqua Blanca terroir into the glass?
Eveything is made to enable these terroirs to reveal themselves and elaborate great wines.
In 2003, the winery comes to a new life and gets equipped with the most recent facilities available. Grapes and must run with the help of gravity. Facilities are made in order to protect the grapes.
Mas La Chevalière also elaborates and ages wines from grapes grown by partner vinegrowers.
